Steve Witten is Executive Director, Senior Vice President of Investments and original founding member of the Institutional Property Advisors (IPA) group of Marcus & Millichap. He has more than 35 years of investment real estate experience, specializing in multifamily property sales. Steve is based in Fort Lauderdale and is a recognized industry leader in apartment analysis and brokerage and is considered one of the top Institutional multifamily brokers in the country.

Steve lectures throughout the United States on apartment building evaluation, state of the investment property market, real estate investment strategies and annual state of the apartment markets. He has developed lasting and trusted relationships with his clients, successfully representing over 80 institutional investors and hundreds of private investors over his career, many of them repeatedly.
Steve graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia and received a master’s degree in behavioral psychology at the University of Pennsylvania. He also completed the rigorous CCIM courses CI-101 through CI-105 and has closed more than $8 billion in multifamily transactions nationally. Steve has “set the standard for leadership throughout the multifamily industry.”
