Andrew Frey is a real estate development and urban design professional with more than a decade of experience. He is a developer, zoning lawyer, educator, advocate, and winner of the ULI Southeast Florida Young Leader of the Year.

He is currently principal of Tecela, an urban real estate development company. Prior to Tecela, he developed more than 1,000 market-rate rental units at CC Residential, and obtained local government approvals for more than 2.5 million square feet of development at Akerman and Gunster. He is an occasional adjunct professor at the University of Miami School of Architecture, where he has won the Faculty Award.

His volunteer activities include serving as a board member of the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority (Tri-Rail), executive director of Townhouse Center, and former executive director of DawnTown, for which he won the Knight Arts Challenge.

He has a JD from the University of Michigan and a BA from Boston College.
