Mr. Jack Taylor, J.D. is a Global Head of Commercial Real Estate at Pine River Capital Management L.P. Mr. Taylor was a Managing Director and Head of Global Debt Business at Prudential Real Estate Investors. He joined Prudential Real Estate Investors in May 2009 to establish the integrated global debt funds platform, and was responsible for strategic planning, product development, client relations and the investment activities of the group. He was responsible for leading the firm’s U.S. high yield debt strategies as Portfolio Manager. Before joining the firm, Mr. Taylor was a Partner at Five Mile Capital Partners LLC. Earlier, he co-led real estate investment banking for the Americas and Europe at UBS and previously led the real estate group at Paine Webber. Earlier, Mr. Taylor was Head Trader and Manager for CMBS business at Kidder Peabody Group Inc (Kidder, Peabody & Co., Inc). A pioneer of the commercial real estate capital markets, he was a leader in the creation and development of the CMBS market in the 1990s. Mr. Taylor has developed and managed third party funds, proprietary lending books, securitization programs, primary and secondary trading, investment banking, and advisory businesses. He has successfully built businesses on Wall Street and in funds investing in multiple market cycles that have been characterized by strong risk management. Mr. Taylor holds a J.D. from Yale Law School, a M.Sc. in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a B.A. degree in Philosophy from the University of Illinois.
