Susan Hewitt has over twenty-five years experience as a developer, manager, and investor in New York City’s residential market. Prior to founding The Cheshire Group, she oversaw the condominium conversion of 421 Hudson Street and 305 Second Avenue and the coop conversion of 66 Pearl Street. Her prior experience includes the conversion of commercial buildings (including mills, lofts, and factories) to residential and office use, as well as the management of regulated and free market rentals in New York City and the northeast.

Ms. Hewitt holds an AB in Economics from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York, a licensed real estate broker, a past president of the Association of Real Estate Women, and a past Chair of Habitat for Humanity-NYC. She is a Vestryman of Trinity Wall Street and a former trustee of the Grace Church School and The Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, NY.
