Barbara Byrne Denham is an Economist at Reis and helps with the firm’s forecasting and analytics services. Prior to Reis, Barbara served as Chief Economist at Eastern Consolidated where she wrote white papers on the commercial real estate market. Barbara has also served as Research Manager both at Jones Lang LaSalle and Colliers ABR. She also created the New York STAT, an economic newsletter. Barbara’s research has appeared in Real Estate Finance Journal, The Economist, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Bloomberg and Crain’s. Barbara is a Ph.D. candidate in economics at New York University and holds a bachelor’s of business administration degree from the University of Notre Dame.
